It's hard to see pink and not think about the ribbons we see worn by friends, family or co-workers who are battling or know someone who is battling breast cancer. Consider reading up on breast cancer, it's causes, potential cures and ways you can help others fighting it.

Jazz Up Your Scarf

Summer can be a tricky time of year. First you're hot outside with the sun and the mercury sky high, then you're cold as you go inside to that oh-so-climate controlled office. How do you defeat the temperature change? Accessorize with a scarf! If you wear one to work every day, it can get a little old just wrapping it around your neck, so we put together a Polyvore board with a few suggestions on how to keep your scarf style fresh.

National Splurge Day coming up!

This Monday, June 18th, is National Splurge Day! There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information about where this day comes from, but does it really need an explanation? The name really says it all - who wouldn't want a day dedicated to treating yourself?

Maybe this is the first time you've ever heard of Splurge Day. Well, it's never too soon to study up on some fantastic ideas to splurge on when National Splurge Day rolls around this Monday.

We put together a couple ideas:

Spice up a room!

1. Buy that hardcore, vintage vinyl record you've been eyeballing on eBay.
2. Treat your feet - enjoy the fresh cut grass on your front lawn with a little barefoot frolic and then dash inside for a foot bath, or better yet, head over to spa for a mani-pedi. 
3. Make a feast for the eyes with a few decorative choices that could spice up your living quarters. 
4. Spend some time catching up with someone you haven't seen in a while, have a party, or go to a movie with the gang.
5. Shoes. You can never go wrong with shoes.

With that said, have a great weekend and a wonderful National Splurge Day!

H2Z's Get a Q at Summer Jam!

Check it out! H2Z went to the 98PXY's Summer Jam last night in Rochester, NY with our Get a Q slap bracelets and it looks like they were a big hit! The booth was packed the whole time with a huge line even up until the end of the show.

Rosie on the Beach/National Red Rose Day

Today is National Red Rose Day. In light of this we've collected some information from around the web that might help you get into the mood to celebrate these gorgeous flowers.

1. Think about visiting a rose garden today. Busy today? How about going to a Rose Festival in the near future? There are sure to be a plethora of fine flora to please the senses. The best way to appreciate a rose is to smell one, and being in a garden filled with them will make it that much easier.
2. Interested in learning a bit more about roses in general? Check out the American Rose Society to find upcoming conventions, growing tips, and even poetry!
3. If you can't make it out to either a garden or a festival, the best way to enjoy some red roses on National Red Rose Day is to purchase a few and display them proudly around the office or home! If you live in the Rochester, New York area, you might consider stopping by your local Wegmans Florist for some of these lovely beauties! In the same vein, you could always don your best Red Rose themed outfit.
