Its Teachers Appreciation Week!!
Have you herd the phrase, "To teach is to touch the future?" In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week which runs from May 7th -11, 2012, why not take a moment to thank your children's teachers, or to remember those who made a difference in your own life? It's so easy to take for granted how many hours before, during, and after work that teachers put in to teach and guide our children. We know that our readers take the time to thank each and every special teacher out there for making a difference, so we wanted to give you some ideas to help so that teacher just how much you care.
Remember that teachers don't necessarily need (or want) us to spend a lot of money on them. Why not have your child write their teacher a sweet note that can be given with a little something special to remember your child by? Of course if you're anything like us, you will want to make sure the note is crafty and the gift is packaged in a beautiful way.
What better way to show your appreciation then with a teacher mug filled with her favorite goodies,
a picture frame notepad and pen set with your class photo,
or a beautiful plaque that she can display for years to come.
Teacher appreciation makes the world of education go around.
